Clipboard sync between any devices

Clipcroft works across every combination of devices and operating systems. Text and files travel browser-to-browser — nothing stored on servers, no account required.

iPhone / iPad → Windows PC

Share your iPhone clipboard with a Windows computer

Apple's Universal Clipboard only works within the Apple ecosystem and AirDrop doesn't reach Windows. Clipcroft fills the gap: open the same short clipboard name on both devices — text appears instantly, and photos and files start transferring right away — no install, no Apple ID, no cable.

Mac → Android

Copy and paste between Mac and Android

Handoff, Universal Clipboard, and AirDrop are Apple-only — none of them help if you use a Mac with an Android phone. Open Clipcroft in any browser on both sides — text syncs in real time, and files and images start transferring right away.

iPhone → Mac (no iCloud)

Transfer between iPhone and Mac without iCloud

AirDrop sometimes refuses to connect, iCloud fills up at 5 GB, and not every Mac is signed into iCloud. Clipcroft connects an iPhone and a Mac in any browser without using iCloud, an Apple ID, or AirDrop's discovery layer.

Android → Windows

Transfer files between Android and Windows

Microsoft's Phone Link works for messages but file transfer is limited and requires app install plus account sign-in. Clipcroft works in any browser on both sides — no Phone Link, no Microsoft account, no cable.

AirDrop alternative for Windows

An AirDrop alternative for Windows

AirDrop is Apple-only and there is no official client for Windows. Clipcroft is the closest practical equivalent for Windows users — send files from an iPhone or Mac to a PC in any browser, no app install on either side.

Linux ↔ Android

Transfer files between Linux and Android

MTP over USB is unreliable on Linux, and KDE Connect or LocalSend need an app on both ends plus the same Wi-Fi. Clipcroft works in any browser on both sides — no cable, no install, and it works across different networks.

AirDrop alternative for Linux

An AirDrop alternative for Linux

There's no AirDrop for Linux, and the usual stand-ins — LocalSend, KDE Connect, GSConnect — need an app on every device and the same network. Clipcroft is the closest thing to AirDrop you can use on Linux: share files from a Linux computer to any device in the browser.

Linux ↔ Windows

Transfer files between Linux and Windows

Sharing files between Linux and Windows usually means setting up Samba, and Phone Link doesn't reach Linux at all. Clipcroft works in any browser on both computers — no Samba, no network shares, no account.

Work → Home

Transfer text and files between your work and home computer

You're finishing something on your work computer and need to continue at home, or vice versa. Emailing yourself a link or file works, but it leaves a trail in your inbox and takes extra steps.

Open a Clipcroft clipboard on both computers. Paste the text or drop the file on one side — it's ready on the other. When you close the tabs, the session ends. Nothing is stored on our servers between sessions.

Desktop → Phone

Send a file from your desktop to your phone without a cable

Transferring a photo or document from a desktop to a phone usually means emailing it, using a cloud drive, or plugging in a USB cable. Clipcroft does it over Wi-Fi or mobile data — drop the file and it starts transferring to your phone right away. The same flow works between any two devices, in any direction.

No Cloud Storage

Transfer files without uploading to cloud storage

Services like Google Drive, Dropbox, and WeTransfer store your files on their servers. Clipcroft does not store your files anywhere — the file travels browser-to-browser via WebRTC, and once the transfer is complete there is nothing left on any server.

Real-Time Sharing

Share a link or screenshot during a meeting

You're in a video call and want to share a link, a screenshot, or a document with the other person quickly, without interrupting the call to use screen share or find their email address.

Tell them the clipboard name — something short like "meet" or "talk" — and they open it on their device. Paste the link or drop the file — the link is there instantly, and a file starts transferring right away.

Why Clipcroft instead of email, AirDrop, or cloud storage
